A study in the UK shows there is less risk of haematological and vascular events for people who are fully vaccinated while the risks are higher for those who are not vaccinated and contracted COVID-19. Basically, it says after immunisation, vascular problems are less common than after acquiring covid.
Here’s what the study says in plain English:
“According to the study, following the initial (first doses) doses of the ChAdOx1 nCoV-19 and BNT162b2 mRNA vaccines, there was an increase in the risk of haematological and vascular events that resulted in hospitalisation or death for brief periods of time.
“In the same cohort, the chances of most of these outcomes were much greater and lasted longer after SARS-CoV-2 infection than after immunisation.”
