With the attack from netizens against the new Prime Minister Ismail Sabri Yaakob for visiting a cemetery on Saturday, the question is what are the rules regarding visits to cemeteries in this pandemic era?
Some people were fined for visiting cemeteries while there are no fines for the PM. Netizens are angered by what they call ‘double standards.
NSC DG Datuk Rodzi Md Saad says it is inaccurate that the PM violated SOPs and there are no specific SOPs for grave pilgrimage but restrictions are in force during Hari Raya Aidilfitri and Hari Raya Aidiladha.
