The European Union is recommending new travel restrictions for unvaccinated Americans heading towards member countries in an effort to force people to get vaccinated.
The EU says soaring rates of new coronavirus infections have made the United States a global pandemic hot spot and they do not want un-vaxed Americans to bring more of the virus in the European countries.
European countries now accept proof of vaccination and the EU says they should continue to admit inoculated travellers, regardless of where they are from, as long as they have received a full regimen of an approved vaccine.
The E.U. recommendation is an important precedent and it will vex (annoy) among anti-vaxxers.
