Air Selangor informs the public of Sungai Semenyih Water Treatment Plant (LRA Sg. Semenyih) shut down due to the odour pollution detected at the Jenderam Hilir Raw Water Pump Station at 11.10 am today.
“We are working with Lembaga Urus Air Selangor (LUAS) to identify the source of the raw water pollution along Sungai Semenyih and its tributaries. Following the shut down of the Sg Semenyih LRA, a total of 172 areas in Petaling regions, namely Petaling (172 areas) are expected to experience unscheduled water supply disruptions.
Consumers can get the list of areas affected by this water supply disruption through the Air Selangor website at http://www.airselangor.com. Air Selangor is making all efforts to minimise the impact of disruption to the affected consumers.
