Some people are putting pressure on Pakatan Harapan to get rid of its three top leaders but we all know it is a difficult task. But you do not change leaders like you are changing shirts!
First, the three leaders still carry weight in the opposition movement and that means they have supporters behind them and they are also the inspiration for the ‘reformasi’ movement in Malaysia.
Second, there are no leaders among the youngsters in the PH who can take over from them. Anwar is not irreplaceable, nor is Lim Guan Eng or Mohammad Sabu. But who will take over from Anwar, in the first place?
The transition for power in the opposition will have to come from Anwar and it will take a bit more time since PH is still healing from the massive betrayal by some of its MPs recently.
