Anwar insists AG going against Agong’s wish

1 min read

Opposition leader Anwar Ibrahim is not letting off the opposition’s concerns about the AG’s refusal to allow a vote of confidence in Parliament to seal the appointment of the PM Ismail Sabri Yaakob’s position.

He says the AG’s statement that a motion is not needed goes against the wishes of the Agong who mentioned in a letter last month that he would want the new PM to be tested in Parliament.

The opposition is united on this front and the PH leaders has also voiced concerns on the matter.
