Two foreigners wanted for various crimes in Penang were killed in a shootout with the police yesterday.
They were in a grey Proton Waja, the police ordered the driver to stop the car but they sped away instead but it came to a stop near a foothill when a passenger rushed out, fired two shots at the police and the driver brandished a parang.
That is when police shot them, firing several shots. No police personnel were hurt in the shootout.
