Wateroam Singapore and Philippines School in Zayed Award final

Wateroam, a Singapore-based, award-winning social enterprise that develops water filtration systems that are catered to rural and disaster-hit areas made it to the final of the Zayed Award.

Wateroam has deployed its water filtration systems through NGOs to provide more than 100,000 people in Cambodia, Indonesia, Nepal, Pakistan, Malaysia, Myanmar, and Vanuatu with access to clean drinking water.

Zayed Sustainability Prize is the UAE’s pioneering award for recognising sustainable solutions and humanitarianism.

Bohol Wisdom School came up with an automated water-quality monitoring system for aquaculture ponds, which landed among the 30 finalists in the prize’s 2022 cycle.
