Langkawi to reopen to foreign tourists with no quarantine

1 min read

Malaysia used Langkawi as a testbed for opening its internal borders and the success story from Langkawi now means it may also open the Island resort to foreign tourists.

The perks for the tourists who are fully vaccinated — that is have two doses of vaccinations — is they can enter the Island without fear of quarantine.

This is part of a pilot travel bubble project that targets high-yield (most spending kut) individuals, while children under the age of 18 have to be accompanied by their parents or guardians.
