The organiser of a Melaka event attended by Prime Minister Ismail Sabri Yaakob got a fine of RM20,000 for failing to enforce social separation during a meet-and-greet gathering at a food court where the PM went near Asahan in the Jasin district.

The fine was imposed on the Barisan Nasional (BN) coalition’s polling centre chief on Sunday (Nov 14).

Najib, ex-PM, was also at the event before the arrival of Sabri and he spoke with villagers in the same location.
