Channel News Asia from Singapore gives a great insight into how Indonesian influencers are battling it hard to remain relevant and to capture more followers.

Life can be especially difficult for aspiring influencers like Syifa Aulia Putri, who are starting to get paid but do not earn enough to leave their day jobs.

But she says it is long and hard work (after office hours) that got her where she is and stardom on IG for example is not about filming short videos and posting them online alone. The strain of hard work can be taxing.
