Sabri visits Singapore this Monday

Prime Minister Dato Sri Ismail Sabri Yaakob will undertake his first official visit to the Republic of Singapore on November 29, 2021 accompanied by YB Dato Saifuddin Abdullah, Minister of Foreign Affairs; YAB Dato Hasni Mohammad, Chief Minister of Johor and officials from the relevant Ministries and Agencies.

The visit, at the invitation of Singapore PM Lee Hsien Loong is also in conjunction with the commencement of the air and land Vaccinated Travel Lane (VTL) between Malaysia and Singapore.

Sabri is scheduled to call on Her Excellency Halimah Yacob, President of Singapore and hold a meeting with his counterpart Lee Hsien Loong. The Leaders will discuss Malaysia-Singapore bilateral cooperation, including new opportunities for effective recovery from the impacts of the unprecedented COVID-19 pandemic. Both Prime Ministers will also be exchanging views on regional and international issues of mutual concern.
