Fahmi Fadzil the Lembah Pantai MP is ranting on Twitter about the Parliament speaker’s refusal to allow MPs to discuss the flood situation in the country after the weekend sustained rain burst into people’s homes and washed away cars, lorries, roads…

“With due respect, Tan Sri, of course, the flood is not on the agenda! When will we debate this issue? When the Speaker’s house is flooded?,” he wrote on Twitter.

There were heated moments in the Dewan Rakyat as several lawmakers called on the government to explain measures to address the flood situation that has affected thousands of people nationwide.
