Ex-PM Mahathir Mohamad, who was admitted to hospital for the third time this month, is in stable condition, says to a statement by his daughter Marina Mahathir.
“Siti Hasmah Mohd Ali (Mahathir’s wife) and family ask for Malaysian citizens to pray for his speedy and full recovery,” she says.
On January 22, Mahathir’s office reported that he had been hospitalised to Malaysia’s National Heart Institute’s cardiac care unit (CCU) (IJN). On December 16, 2021, he was admitted to the same hospital for a “complete medical check-up and additional surveillance.”
