The Johor elections is proving to be a bit different from the other two state elections we saw last year, the Malacca and Sarawak state polls, both won by BN and its partners.
This time around, BN won the polls with a big margin, but most of the voters did not choose BN candidates. This is similar to the situation in 2013 when BN won the General Elections with less than 50% of the votes.
