Local badminton legend, Lee Chong Wei, on his Facebook page says he has no intention of becoming a coach right now and would rather stay in Malaysia with his family savouring Ramadan delicacies and looking forward for Hari Raya open houses.
Netizens praised Lee for his show of love for Malaysia and its current Ramadan observation. The star retired in June 2019 because of nose cancer. The risk of relapse due to high-intensity activities means he can’t take part in tournaments.
