The Sultan of Selangor purchased a painting of frogs and monkeys

And the unusual painting bought by the Sultan of Selangor, Sharafuddin Idris Shah for his private study room tells a story that is not far from a certain political reality in the country.

According to The Star on Apr 12, the painting depicts the Dewan Rakyat, with its benches occupied not by MPs, but by primates and amphibians.

Different species of each animal were seen, including chimpanzees, gorillas, orangutans, frogs and toads while the one of the humans visible in the painting, The Star claims, bore a resemblance to Malaysia’s current Speaker, Azhar Azizan Harun. @LatestMalaysia
