JJudge Izralisam Sanusi warned the public today in making more statements/comments on social media such as Twitter with regards to the ongoing case against Siti Bainun. The accused allegedly abused a disabled child, Bella which made national headlines.
The judge agreed that Malaysians have the right to express their thoughts freely, however legal action may be taken if the public tries to interfere with the case. There are several witnesses that need to be cross examined and the case will continue on for quite some time. Basically, no play play with Siti Bainun because you might get in trouble then.
Netizens have yet to respond to this statement, and if they do it won’t be a nice response. Netizens can get out of hand when they are provoked, and this case is quite a controversial and provoking one where even a family member from the Johor Royalty joined in support for Bella.
