High Court judge Datuk Wan Ahmad Farid Wan Salleh has cautioned lawyers to leave the glitter and glamour to the genuine superstars, saying that the legal profession has been in the spotlight since last week due to the behaviour of some counsel participating in a high-profile case.

“However, in the quest of defending your client, I do not think that it is in the best interest of your client to post on social media or make any personal comment on the ongoing case.” He adds that “Such online posts would provoke keyboard warriors to action and create unnecessary public uproar.”

“Whatever transpires in the courtroom shall stay in the courtroom.”
