In a recent interview, the lawyer for Siti Bainun who infamously went on a Tiktok rant about how netizens should keep to themselves about Bella’s case recently claimed that she isn’t upset with the comments. However, her past reactions did prove somewhat otherwise to what she has stating in the interview.
Netizens did comment that by law Siti Bainun has to be represented by someone. However, she got a flock of negative comments from netizens due to her doing ‘peace and love’ pose with the alleged child abuser. For her to be ‘tak koyak’ which means ‘chilled’, she would have just easily not responded to netizens.
This came before the recent announcement by the High Court Judge mentioning that lawyers, especially in high profile cases shouldn’t engage in free publicity on the internet. This could engage netizens to come back with a string of backlashes which are completely unnecessary for the case.
