This year, the Met Gala which is an annual ball hosted by Vogue editor in chief Anna Wintour has been a disappointment to the general public. The theme for this year was the Gilded Age and celebrities either misinterpreted or took the theme lightly.
Twitter users are making fun of these celebrities saying their outfits are from ultra fast fashion brand, Shein. There were jabs towards the host, Anna Wintour saying that she was around during that period (Jabs at her age).
Other users mentioned that Billie Eilish followed through the assignment well and that there were some celebrities that did the same. However, most of them didn’t follow through and hence the word ‘Shien’ is currently trending on Twitter.
