On Twitter yesterday, it was brought up that Grab fares have been gouging or as netizens love to call it ‘harga yahudi’. The Twitter user urged other netizens to stop or reduce the demand for Grab.

They further mentioned that a taxi fare for the same destination from the same place was almost RM10 cheaper than Grab’s RM26 fare. Other users mentioned that Grab is now stingy, even with their membership points as back in 2018 users used to get 9 points for RM1. Now however, it’s 3 points for every RM1 (only if you’re a platinum member).

Other users mentioned that Grab’s former competitor Uber had better deals and showed their customers that they actually cared. Others mentioned that Grab isn’t performing well with their recent drop on IPO.
