In the Prime Minister’s debate last night, former PM Najib Razak stated that the government should enlarge the economic cake by increasing the country’s assets and shamelessly slammed PH’s policy of selling state assets to cover the debts left by his administration.
However, the PH chief Anwar Ibrahim questioned Najib on whether the economic cake has been shared well and distributed to the majority of the people?
“That’s why if we have a cake, we shouldn’t eat the cake alone. If we grow a cake, who wants to determine the fair distribution? If we look at the cake, the political elite above is rich, who eat a lot.”
#Malaysia, I wonder if anyone noticed but the debate between DSNR and DSAI was very similar to Trump vs Biden.
Najib, like Trump, talks about things people want to hear, with fancy slogans and catchphrases. While Annuar is doing the Biden route, which is practical but boring.
