People replied to her saying that she could’ve gotten an Axia for RM400 a month and top up RM200 for petrol. However, she replied asking if that figure includes insurance, tolls and parking. In the end, Grab may actually be cheaper as you would not need to worry about these payments.
Another netizen supporting her mentioned that there are numerous hidden costs to owning a car. If there are floods in KL, there wouldn’t really be an issue with car maintenance as you’re riding a Grab. Those supporting this woman mentioned that others should think before they attack someone for their financial choices.
