In Malaysia, the class separation is usually a sensitive topic where the top 20% are labeled as T20, M40 is the middle income 40% and B40 is the below average 40% income brackets. Since the class separations were announced, there have been numerous ‘issues’ between the T20s B40s and occasionally M40s.

However, this time it is about the usual Malaysian flat residences extending their homes illegally and at times stealing parking spots in order to extend their homes. The location is at Flat Taman Dato Harun in Petaling Jaya. It also appears that the owner bought two units atop of each other and renovated it.
If they can probably afford to do that, they’re not B40 and can most likely afford a larger home to live in. Netizens mentioned that a majority of the homes there have made illegal extensions and the local authorities have their hands tied. This is not just a B40 problem, M40 and T20s have also done similar things in their respective neighborhoods too.
