Today, the Minister of Health, Khairy Jamaluddin posted the results of the recent suspected Monkeypox cases in Malaysia. It is found that one of the suspected cases was hand foot and mouth disease and the other two were your standard chicken pox.
Netizens asked if there is any protocol or special screenings at airports in order to detect the sleek virus. Some netizens were making fun of our standard conspiracy theorist saying that they would claim the government is hiding the truth about monkeypox.
However, westerners are complaining about the disease as an infected person would stay infected for 2-3 weeks until they are fully healed. It is reported that Singapore had received a case of the monkeypox way back in 2019 and had them and their close contacts quarantined for 21 days.
