A netizen pointed out our maintenance culture and decided to show photographs of the Subang Alam LRT station. The station which opened about 5 years ago is now facing numerous structural issues and having street lights not working in the middle of the night.
Netizens shared concerns, what if a woman was walking home from a long day at work? Or what if someone elderly needs to use the train at night? The netizen further stated that the lights from the main road to the station are not in working order.
Furthermore, the station has a leaking roof. If it rains heavily, the platform will be wet. The netizen further pointed out that the platform floors are slippery, and that there’s no protective barrier from passengers to the rails. For a relatively new station, it is shocking to see it in such a horrible condition.
