Our Minister of Health, Khairy Jamaluddin has announced that Malaysia had 0 deaths on 19th June 2022. It marks the first after almost 2 years of having deaths everyday due to covid in our country. The worst year for covid deaths was in 2021.
Netizens are happy to hear such news, and they thanked the vaccination programs for helping to contain the virus. Others were asking if there are plans to increase the amount of hospital beds and treatment capacity in case of another covid wave.
However, many congratulated our Health Minister as the job was done well in the end, despite the heavy loss we had back in 2021. Many are querying what would happen if we went back to normal like how it was in 2019, as many European countries are going through with that.
