A netizen posted on Twitter saying that she and her boyfriend decided to book a trip to the scenic location in Pahang. The airbnb caretaker called the couple and inquired about their race, and for obvious reasons they were puzzled.
It was mentioned that the airbnb is only catered to Malays and Chinese. The couple, despite being Chinese, decided to cancel their booking for the place as they do not support racism. The caretaker went on claiming that Indian people did not follow their house rules.
However, netizens of all races weren’t too happy with that statement. They stated that it is unfair to treat Indian people as such, as at the end of the day we are all Malaysians. The netizen went further to mention that if a tenant of another race did not follow the rules, would they ban all of them as well?
