Keretapi Tanah Melayu Berhad has announced on Twitter that their shuttle trains from Padang Besar to Hatyai on the 15th of July. This is after 2 years of not having any operations to Thailand due to the Covid-19 restrictions.

KTMB further made a comment saying that some would miss having Tomyam in Thailand, and some Thai people would miss the ‘masakan lemak’ that we have here. The price of the shuttle trains would be RM6 for a one way trip (from Padang Besar of course).

It is seen that many netizens are keen to go on a quick holiday to Thailand by using KTMB’s services. The tweet has gotten over 3000 retweets as of now and there were other netizens giving tips on how to buy the shuttle tickets.
