This is amazing and it is a story that tells us how the future might be. In order to speed up deliveries from suppliers in Nuevo Leon, Mexico, Tesla has acquired a designated express lane.

According to Bloomberg, the EV manufacturer made a deal with the Mexican government to open the lane at the obscure Colombia Solidarity checkpoint after moving its headquarters from Silicon Valley to Austin, Texas.

The agreement’s specifics weren’t accessible. But since last year, a half-dozen suppliers for Tesla, including the Taiwanese firms Enflex and Quanta, have appeared on the Mexican side of the border. WOW.
