If you had intentions to fly either domestically or internationally and are from the Klang Valley area, well you’re out of luck for today. It is reported that not just KLCC is experiencing blackouts, but our main international airport KLIA as well.
Malaysia Airport’s official twitter page has mentioned that KLIA’s main terminal building is blacked out and they are contacting TNB to resolve the issue. Netizens are curious as to why KLIA does not have backup generators in case of critical times like these.
It is reported that many places are getting their electricity back, and some mentioned that KLIA 2 is still operational. Others were curious if KLIA is fully blacked out, how would aircraft land safely?
