Unfortunate news for one of our nation’s former upcoming ‘luxury’ brand, FashionValet announced that they will be closing their doors after 12 years of being in the scene. FV mentioned that they will be shifting focus towards dUCk and LILIT, other brands under the same umbrella.

Apart from selling their items online, they also have physical stores in prestigious malls in Malaysia such as Pavilion Bukit Bintang and Bangsar Village II. Netizens are not too pleased with the alleged government investment of RM28 million going to waste just like that.

Many are criticising the company’s decision to close down and called it a joke. However, many may not understand that if a business is not suited for a certain market, it will only make further losses which would make more people complain.
