It has been alleged that the organisers of KLFW have issues with giving payments to their models and would claim that they are giving them exposure. However, this fashion show is restricted for Malaysia only, how much exposure can one get with this anyways.

Netizens are not happy with this floating around Twitter, claiming they’re the same as companies refusing to pay interns proper wages for giving them ‘experience’. Unfortunately for us normal people, this is the standard we have to face while living in Malaysia.
