One of the most prosperous states of Malaysia, Selangor, is no stranger towards water rations as every year we would usually have one or two of them. Sometimes it can happen at the most inconvenient times, like Ramadan.
Air Selangor on Twitter tweeted that there has been another water contamination issue that happened on 11th August. Netizens are concerned whether their water supply will be affected and if we have to forgo another ration again.
They stated that an accident on the Karak-Bentong highway caused the contamination. It is unclear how there is no proper infrastructure protecting our freshwater. Furthermore, why is water contamination happening at a frequent rate in Selangor?
