Malaysians have been complaining, as usual, but this time it’s about thrifting and its exorbitant prices these days. From being called ‘bundle’ to ‘preloved’ and now selling used items more expensive than fresh new items is the trend.

Netizens complained that they’ve been experiencing bundles with worn out clothes but they cost higher than those available at H&M or Zara. However, this could be due to the cost of shipping items and a lack of natural resources. It still does not justify the prices of some ‘bundle’ stores that can reach up to thousands of Ringgit.

However, some with more exorbitant prices are not your usual thrift items, they can be collector items. For example, a vintage piece from the 1980s or 1990s in excellent condition where the prices will be more expensive.
