Malaysia’s Chicken Export Only If Local Supply Enough

Chicken from Malaysia will be exported – to Singapore in particular – only if the local chicken supply is not affected says the boss of the special task force against inflation, Annuar Musa.

So folks, don’t worry, there will be enough chicken on the market he seems to say – though between us, price is still an issue.

Mr Annuar said the export ban will continue to ensure that the price of chickens can be controlled. He also said that the issue involving provisions of subsidies to chicken farmers needs to be fine-tuned.
