Listed as a “major case fugitive” on a wanted poster, Malaysian businessman ‘Fat’ Leonard Glenn Francis is wanted by the US Marshals, who are also offering a reward of up to US$40,000 (S$56,000) for information leading directly to the fugitive’s capture.
The “Fat Leonard” 57-year-old, who is well-known for evading house arrest in San Diego, California last Sunday when he was scheduled to be sentenced after entering a guilty plea in a case involving the US Navy’s corruption, is reportedly on the run.
Fat Leonard, according to reports in Malaysian media, was born and raised in Penang. He is estimated to be 157 kg in weight and 187 cm tall.
