One of the weirdest topics about Malaysian politics is that sometimes these politicians might give themselves a nickname, case in point “Abah.” Apparently to many, it is quite awkward to call our Prime Minister a nickname that is a malay version of “Daddy.”

The netizen that tweeted that out also used the hashtag stop romanticising politicians. She has a valid point on that. Other netizens agreed with her statement calling it “cringe.” It is the first time in a long time where netizens are openly discussing respecting our Prime Minister.
It is quite a popular opinion as both of these tweets garnered thousands of likes and retweets. There were others saying that “bossku” is childish and cringe. The netizen further stated that your “boss” is in prison right now.
