Anwar Ibrahim the newly minted PM of Malaysia is associated with many historical firsts in Malaysia and perhaps in the world altogether and yet here is another historical high for Anwar who is now known as the most trending PM on social media.

The hashtag #DSAI and #10thPrimeMinister was trending on Thursday and Friday along with the #reformasi with congratulatory messages for the 10th PM who seems to be very popular online.
Many are also in awe at Anwar’s struggle, some rediscovering it or newly exposed to Anwar’s long struggle to win power after he was wrongfully accused in the past and jailed for his fight for democracy.
