Malaysian charged with causing harassment to Singapore PM Lee

Chai Fui Chet is a 44 years old Malaysian charged for harassing Prime Minister Lee Hsien Loong on purpose and if he is found guilty, the man faces a maximum penalty of five thousand dollars in fines or jail time or both.

According to charge sheets obtained by portals in Singapore, Chai allegedly threatened to burn Seagate Singapore via Facebook Messenger to PM Lee in a threat made on November 7, 2022.

Another portal in Singapore reports that Chai is presently being held without bond at the Institute of Mental Health (IMH).
