Hopes On Replacing Touch N Go With Pay Wave

Now that we have a new government in place, netizens are hoping that Prime Minister Anwar Ibrahim would consider to end the monopoly that Touch n Go has.

Touch N Go a relic from the past?

Netizens are also saying that Touch N Go is one of the causes for the blockage on key important highways. Furthermore, it is a chore and a pain to top up said Touch N Go cards.

Some are even stating that it can cost up to RM0.50 to top up the cards depending on the location. Furthermore RFID which was supposed to be the gradual replacement but it is relatively faulty as well.

There are hopes that the public transportation system would also implement pay wave for their systems. Questions are rising with regards that pay wave is allowed in parking lots but not highway tolls.
