The PN is thinking of Putrajaya and some Umno members are still working hard to bring about a PN-BN coalition that will help the PN regain its share of power in Putrajaya and cause the fall of PM Anwar Ibrahim’s government.
The plan is for Muhyiddin to quit as leader of the PN to appease the Umno membes who are outright against him becoming PM again.
“Umno knows that Muhyiddin wants to finish the party off, so how can they work with PN?” the party insider said. Meanwhile, Umno has apparently fired Annuar Musa from the party.
Nevertheless, PN is good at plotting and this could be another plot to make some Umno MPs who are unhappy they are not with PN in power that Muhyiddin will quit to make way for a PN-BN alliance.
