PN would have lost 32 seats if PH-BN partnered in GE15

Had the PH-BN partnered in the last general elections, the Perikatan Nasional would have lost 32 seats, or more than two third that it now boasts in the national Parliament, but that is a big if.

In fact, a PH-BN coalition would have fully swept all parliamentary seats in Penang, Pahang, Selangor, Melaka and Johor, says a local portal that has carried out a survey.

In Penang, PH-BN would have been able to fully control the state and capture the three parliamentary constituencies Kepala Batas, Tasek Gelugor and Permatang Pauh that were won by PN on the Nov 19 poll. It would have been the same in Pahang and Selangor. In other states, PH-BN would have won more seats than they won so far.

But, for sure, a BN-PN alliance would have also won more seats than the 104 the two groups have in Parliament now.
