The consensus agreement between the coalition of political parties in the Unity Government will close the door for another Sheraton move – Minister of Communications and Digital Fahmi Fadzil.
According to the Communications Director of Pakatan Harapan (PH), this is due to the existence of Aka Perlembagaan (Amendment) (No. 3) 2022, which prohibits members of the House of Representatives from changing parties.

“Insya Allah, it won’t happen again (the Sheraton move) because we have to read two documents at the same time, a document signed today and what we’re working on, which is the amendment to the Constitution prohibiting members of the Dewan Rakyat from changing parties,” he says.
