A young mother was arrested with her boyfriend on suspicion of strangling her son after spending the night with her lover at a condominium in Cyberjaya on January 12.
It is understood that the 20-year-old suspect, who works as a clerk in a private company, is in the process of divorcing after nearly two years of marriage with her husband, who is unemployed.
Infant Strangling
The investigations on the infant strangling incident indicates that she told the police in Sepang that the baby fell from the sofa before being sent to Cyberjaya Hospital for treatment. As a result of the initial examination, the doctor found that there was bleeding on both sides of the pupil which was likely caused by abuse, to which the mother later apparently confessed.
