A clerk, who works for the local immigration in Malaysia and is a Grade-A 19 officer is suspected of owning four luxury vehicles including a Rolls-Royce Phantom worth RM6 million.
The cars were owned by the officer as a result of illegal activities of misusing stamps at the country’s immigration main gate. The matter came to light after the MACC conducted an investigation following the arrest of 28 members and immigration officers in Selangor and Johor since last Tuesday.
Rolls-Royce Phantom
Preliminary investigation found that the Rolls-Royce, Ford Mustang, Range Rover and Audi vehicles were registered in the names of four agents including two Chinese nationals. They are agents of Chinese foreign workers operating in this country. The four vehicles were however kept by a local agent.
