A man in Kelantan was arrested yesterday after he hit his wife on the head with a helmet. According to the Gua Musang District Police Chief, the man claimed that he did so due to a disagreement over the wife going to work.
Beating Wife
The man tested positive for methaphetamine and has been remanded for four days for further investigation under the Domestic Violence Act 1994 and the Dangerous Drugs Act 1952.
A video of the incident of the man beating wife went viral on social media, causing widespread outrage.
