Perikatan Nasional chairman Tan Sri Muhyiddin Yassin has paid RM2 million bail at the Criminal Registration counter of the Sessions Court on Friday, through two guarantors – his two sons. Muhyiddin is facing six charges of corruption amounting to RM232.5 million and money laundering amounting to RM195 million.
RM2 Million Bail
He is the third Bersatu leader charged with criminal charges in this court, after former Information Chief Datuk Wan Saiful Wan Jan and Bersatu Segambut Deputy Division Chief Adam Radlan Adam Muhammad. Muhyiddin is accused of using his position to bribe money from individuals and companies for the party’s allies.
