Leaders and supporters of Perikatan Nasional (PN) are planning a movement to “support” former Prime Minister Tan Sri Muhyiddin Yassin from the corruption charges against him.
Reformasi Rallies?
Dubbed the “Gelombang Abah,” the movement is expected to be larger than the reformasi movement that supported current Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim when he was imprisoned. Reformasi rallies smaller than Muhyiddin’s rallies?
PN leaders view the charges against Muhyiddin as a form of political tyranny and expect the movement to have a significant impact during the upcoming state elections. Muhyiddin has been charged with abuse of power and money laundering, which he has pleaded not guilty to.
